Welcome to the Rec Pit! You may be looking around and saying, "This is the Rec Pit? Where are all the forums?" We have temporarily closed the Rec Pit while we move to new forums: R/E/P (Recording Engineer & Producer) and MARSH (Musicians, Artists & Recordmakers Superfine Hangout), which feature exciting new forums, moderators new and well-known, and powerful new features. There will be a new login, which will (yes, sorry) require you to re-register, but the same registration will provide login to all our forums (LAB, LAB Lounge, Install, etc.) as well as the Recording forums, and offer features and reliability we could not offer with the old registration system. As for the "Classic" Rec Pit's fate? We will shortly be bringing the Rec Pit back online as a search-and-read archive, so that the 170,000 posts gathered here over the past 2.5 years will remain available for your perusal and enjoyment.
